Autumn in Tokyo

EN: Autumn colors (koyo) in Japan are probably almost as popular as the hanami season, therefore all the parks are full of tourists, families and photographers. This year is not an exception and visiting one of the famous koyo spots during the weekend is not the best decision to do. But since the weather forecast is not very optimistic, I had to deal with unusually full trains and entrance queues, but at the end of the day it was definitely worth it. The place I visited is a park called Showa Kinen Koen, which is well known for its size and good places for photography.

Therefore it was not always easy to take a picture, since the photographers (mostly elderly for some reason) were packed everywhere, abusing the rule “the larger equip in size I have, the better”. While having a mandatory silent laugh at their artilleries, which had to weigh at least half ton (myself as a mirrorless full-frame lightweight user), I managed to take some, since I had better mobility. Anyway, as you can see on the pictures, the park was really full and finding a quiet spot was pretty much impossible, but the autumn colors did not disappoint and after 7km of walking I am happy with some of the results.
