Saitama Green Forest Museum

EN: I found this place when I was virtually exploring the surroundings of Sayama Lake, I wondered what would the track be like, since it was supposed to go through a forest (see video). Well, it did. It actually was a road suitable for a mountain bike, with ups and downs, mud and slops with dirty water – everything was there. It felt like if I was not even in Tokyo any more. The truth is that the parts of the city around both lakes are actually quite rural, with farms and fields with crops. So I tested the road, found the so-called Saitama Green Forest Museum, which had a small lake in its vicinity and some little statues carved out of the wooden logs. It was a nice run into the nature, unfortunately my knee started to hurt quite a lot, so I went back home, but still with 72km of a ride. I did 215kms in the last 4 days, so I guess my body needs a rest, even though I would really like to go on and explore the city.

SK: Toto miesto som našiel počas virtuálneho skúmania okolia jazera Sayama na Google Maps, zaujalo ma to a preto som si to tam dnes namieril.

Hoci by som veľmi rád pokračoval v dňoch voľna v skúmaní okolia.
